I can’t strikes again…

Q seems to have a major case of "I can't" lately.  I don't know when or where it started, only that I don't want him to believe that there are things that he can't do.  So often, when we ask him to do something, he replies with "I can't...". Where is this coming from?  We try really hard not to say that we can't do things, especially in front of him, so I don't know how that idea got into his … [Read more...]

More kids?

Once again, since it's Monday, I am linking up with Stasha's Monday Listicles over at The Good Life.  This week's topic was chosen by Jen at Just Jennifer, and is 10 reasons why we do, or do not want more children. It was awesome. It was also the first time since my Grama's death … [Read more...]

Making memories

Hug your kids

Today, I learned that the 16 month old son of a co-worker lost his long battle with cancer earlier this month.  My first thought was that I wanted to hug my little man and never let him go.  My second thought was how could this happen?  What kind of world is this where a 16 month old baby has to suffer from cancer?  And where two parents have to say goodbye to their son when they have only just … [Read more...]
